We specialize in conducting psychiatric assessments for legal, insurance, workplace, and veterans’ matters. Our focus is on offering clear, evidence-based, and impartial opinions to aid decision-makers with accuracy and integrity.
Our team includes experienced psychiatrists dedicated to medico-legal work. With backgrounds in clinical psychiatry and medico-legal expertise, we provide comprehensive assessments that are fair, objective, and tailored to each case.
Assessments are conducted via secure Telehealth (Australia-wide) or in-person in Perth, WA.
Independent Medical Examinations (IME)
An Independent Medical Examination is a comprehensive psychiatric assessment conducted by a specialist not involved in the person’s treatment. It answers questions about diagnosis, causation, treatment needs, work capacity and prognosis.
Whole Person Impairment (WPI)
We provide WPI assessments according to AMA 5 guidelines where required, to quantify the impact of psychiatric conditions on functioning.
DVA Initial Liability Assessments (DVA ILC)
This service is provided at no cost to the veteran and veteran DVA ILC appointments are prioritised and veterans seen within two weeks of a referral and the completed ILC Report submitted to the DVA within 5 days after the assessment.
